Official Rules

Kona Classic competition is a large selection of single estate farms.  Every farm has subtly different characteristics and a unique personality carefully cultivated by its owner.  Farms range from full-time commercial operations to tiny boutiques. 

Only growers of 100% Kona coffee may enter their coffee in the Classic competition.  Submitted coffee must be five (5) pounds of 100% Kona green beans.  Entries should be dropped off at the CTAHR Cooperative Extension Office in Kainaliu, 8am - 4pm, Monday, October 24 - Friday, October 28.  Entry forms and supplies will be provided at the drop-off station.  Space is limited so get your entry in early.  For more details see the official rules or contact [email protected]

Kona Crown competition is reserved for the larger farms and professional processing mills.  Many of these well-known brands are available in stores, online and in coffee shops all across the world.

Only growers or process of 100% Kona coffee may enter coffee in the Crown competition.  Submitted coffee must be 1000 pounds of 100% Kona green beans.  Entry deadline is Friday, October 28.  For more details see the official rules and contact [email protected] to make arrangements.
