The Kona Coffee Council is a volunteer, non-profit community-based organization of coffee farmers, processors and others involved in the coffee industry. It began in 1985 with the mission to promote and protect and educate about 100% Kona Coffee.

We publish a newsletter, conduct educational courses for our members on all aspects of coffee cultivation, participate in the annual Kona Coffee Festival held each November, promote Kona Coffee at trade fairs, host farm and mill tours for visiting farmers, roasters, processors and tourists.

We also run an Estate Program to help promote the increasing number of estate-label coffee producers. We also run a Seal of Approval program, open to all members of any size who sell 100% Kona Coffee. To learn about these programs, click on the links below.

Membership is available to farmers/processors and to associates (roasters, buyers, coffee shops, etc). A one-year membership is only $25.00, and includes the newsletter. All proceeds go to help the Kona Coffee Industry.
